One of the most important aspects one must consider after finding the perfect college is opting to live on or off campus. ... For students who want privacy, who want freedom, and who want to experience the “real world”, they may want to consider living off campus. Conversely, those looking to save time, to save money, and to feel a part of the college should clearly consider living on campus. Undoubtedly, living off campus has some advantages, however, living on campus is more cost efficient and gives students an opportunity to live independently in a safe and secure environment.
The first thing to consider when deciding whether to live on or off campus is convenience. Students who choose to live on campus do not have to worry about driving and fighting traffic because they are close to the library, computer labs, classes and everything else on campus. On the contrary, students who live off campus have to worry about outrageous gas prices or paying for bus/taxi fare at least twice a day. To tell the truth, for students who enjoy convenience, choosing to live on campus is the way to go.
