“Hoffa” takes place in Detroit, in the mid-1930s. ... Hoffa (played by Jack Nicholson) screaming, “Put down those boxes! ... ”
The first scenes of Hoffa at work trying to get drivers to join really paint a vivid picture of the two extremes; those who believed and those who did not believe that the Teamsters could make a difference.

Into the middle of the movie there is an in-court battle between Robert Kennedy and Jimmy Hoffa that provided a clear picture of just how badly these two disliked each other.
