"I Hate This Damn Weather!"
As I drag my heavy feet over to the sink to pour out my half empty bowl of cereal down the drain, I glance over at my clock that sits on a bookshelf in the corner. ... "Great" I think to myself sarcastically, "Time to go to Writing and Lit." I scrub my bowl, dump it in the drying rack, put my coat on, and grab my backpack on the way out the door. ... I zip up my coat, put my hood on and brace myself for the task at hand. I start down my path and tread carefully like I was walking on a slip n slide. ... One foot gives way throwing my center of balance off and I fling my arms towards the sky in hoping to restore my equilibrium. ... ” I think to myself. I use the less traveled path and walk through the snow-covered grass.
