Summary of it happened one night (romantic)
... the bus didn’t. In Mr. Warren seeing the newspaper with her picture all over it he stayed to make sure she was okay. With Mr. Warren being part of a newspaper company himself he figured he could have a big story, and would tag along with to write that story. When Heather jumped off of her boat she only had four dollars on her so Mr. Warren had to take care of her. So Mr. Warren paid for him and Heather to take the next bus back New York. That same night the bus had to stop off the road because there was a storm that had washed out the road. So being the nice gut that Mr. Warren is he got the both of them a hotel room for the night. The next morning Mr. Warren had Heathers clothes pressed, made her breakfast and got her a hot shower. While this was going on Heather’s dad had wrote to the newspaper companies, radio stations telling them that who ever finds my daughter will be rewarded ten thousand dollars. Heather and Mr. Warren had to get off of the bus because there was man that saw the article about Heather and was going to turn them in. They had no more money, food and not even any way of transportation to get to New York so they had to hitch hike. After waiting a couple of hours they had finally gotten a ride. But the man told them to get out and tried to steal Mr. Warrens bags, so he caught him up and got his bag back and along with the guys car and headed for New York. They ran out of gas so the figured they would stay in a hotel for one night a drive the rest in the morning. This night is when Heather confessed to Mr. Warren about the feelings that she had for him and all she wanted to do was run away and live with him for the rest of his life, but Mr. Warren wanted nothing to do with her because she was going to get married to King Wesley. Heather called her father that night and told her wear they were at so he came and got her and took her home. The next day before Heather was supposed to get married to King Wesley she confessed to her father that she wanted to marry this guy that she fell in love with on the bus. So Heather decided that she did not want Mr. Wesley so she ran out on her wedding and caught up with Mr. Warren and they lived happily ever after. Heather ended up being happy, she married a middle class man who made her happy because he was not rich but lived a life of normal people. He did not have allot of money or people k...
