Usually successful students have a winning attitude; also, they have determination and self-discipline to become successful in college. Unlike unsuccessful students, successful students respect their teacher and try hard to make their dreams come true. Because they work hard and they know their desire, they become successful in college. Secondly, successful students have legitimate goals and their goals are motivated by their career and life plans. Successful students try to make effective goals. For instance, they do their term paper and homework one week prior to the due date. Successful students set their goals on a number of different levels. First they decide what they want to do with their life and what large-scale goals they want to achieve. After they decided their goals, they break these down into smaller and smaller targets that they must hit so that they reach their lifetime goals. Finally, once they have their plan, they start working towards achieving it. Successful students generally make daily plan to develop their study skills as well as their goals. Working hard towards their goals, they achieve success in college. Goals take the personal vision and transfer it into the achievable task. Obviously, this attainment involves a certain amount of time and ability, but as I said, successful students work hard to make their dreams come true. Successful students, who know their career goals, have become more confident in college. Thirdly, becoming successful in college is that students have good time management. Successful students define priorities such as using time to create success not failure. They study at least two hours for every one hour of class. Moreover, they keep their time schedule at hand and refer to it often. They keep daily “to do lists.” They write down all homework and things that they have to do each day.
