Stress
...to put our jackets and carry on luggage on this conveyer belt (so the security can see in the bags with x-ray vision to confer we don’t have bombs and knives). I go through security successfully and so do me parents. When my sister went though they saw something wrong in her school bag (my sister was carrying her school bag because she was going to do home work on the plane). Security stopped she her and asked if they could go in he gab. She said yes go ahead, and they pulled out a protractor set. In my mind I’m thinking should I killer her now or when no one is looking. I was thinking of killing her because this is after September 11 and you aren’t allowed sharp objects in your carry on, and if you do it there are harsh consequences. The security guard was surprised to pull out a compass. At this point my dad is asking why my mom didn’t check her luggage, and my sister is crying, and I’m thinking of ways to killer her for ruining our vacation. The security guard just said I’ll confiscate it and my sister won’t get it back and we could go on. That was a lucky moment on my sister’s behalf. After the Security guard said we could go on I wanted to check my sister’s bag for any thing else so wouldn’t get stopped is the US. If this happened in the US my sister would have been put in jail. That was probably the most stressful 10-min ever. On the way to Penticton last year for my summer vacation we took the company truck. I was traveling with my mom and dad. My grandpa, grandma, aunt, uncle, and sister went on a day earlier. My parents sat in the front and I sat in the back on the bench. Well the back of the truck is about 5 feet long and 2 feet wide. Theirs me in the back siting side was. Well I’m thinking this trip better only take an hour or two of I’m going to die. Well sitting side ways is not good if you don’t have good knees. Your knees start to cramp up and hurt, all you wont to do is stretch out. There I am sitting side ways with hurting knees for an 8-hour trip to Penticton. That was an experience I will never have again. The pain of the road trip was enough to make me cranky for the rest of the trip. Now this story will make you cry. I was traveling with my parents and sister. This happened after that cruise I told you earlier in the essay. This time we where in Florida airport waiting in line to check in our luggage for two and a half hours. At this time I’m exhausted and fed up with lines. The only thing entertaining me we this nice looking girl in the line up to. We finally give the airport people our bags and then we stand in another line to go though security this line up is an hour long. We finally get to security and there are US military. Now at this point I’m thinking that if my sister has something in her bag resembling a knife or something of that nature I’m going to the army guys gun and kill her myself. Security stops my sister again and asks to check her bag. She said go for it, and then the security guard asked what this was (holding an object in her hand). My sister then responded it’s a magnet. A sigh of relief came from my parents and I. We then get on the plain and to take off. The plains on the runway and then suddenly the pilot then said we had to go and got more gas. This took an hour and a half. We take off and everything was fine. All Except that we where going to be late for our connecting flight back to Calgary. We landed in Vancouver and the attendant said that the plain was an hour late. That meant that we had 35 min to go though customs and security in Vancouver. We where running very fast. After customs we ran to check in our luggage. The man in Florida put two stickers on our bags and didn’t tell us. On sticker was for the flight to Vancouver and the other sticker was for the flight from Vancouver to Calgary. So when we went to check in our luggage the man was putting stickers on them when we didn’t need them. So the man put new stickers on our bags and I was putting them on the conveyer belt. Then the computer couldn’t print out any more stickers...
