...oorways, you could start to see and smell the destruction the fire was doing. But I kept moving, knowing that the valued pieces of history would parish if I fail. When I finally got to the Greek section, the huge “Terra Cotta Pot” is what caught my attention and instantly I knew that that was the one that was going with me. The big pot was used to carry wine and grain to be shipped and to be used for trade. It wasn’t an ordinary pot that you might see today. And it resembled nothing of a jug or pot still used to ship things today. It was something more; it was a piece of art. The drawings and designs on it made it so beautiful and it shows you how good the Greeks were at art and pottery. I also think it symbolizes trade and the Greek economy, because it was used as a shipping device. So I grab the pot and the information card and hightail it over to the Egyptian exhibit. When I ran through the doorway and into the Egyptian section there were many things that caught my eye. But one in particular was a “Model Boat”. At first glance it looked like a toy, but when I glanced over the information card, I found out that it was really placed in a tomb and used at burial services. I though it would be neat to keep something that symbolizes the respect for others and the dead. But I think it also symbolizes their expertise in art and carving. The model was made out of one block of wood, and the detail in the face was excellent. After grabbing the “Model Boat”, I head over to the Indian exhibit. And by this time the smoke is very visible and collecting on the ceiling, while the heat is rising and I start to sweat considerably. Even before I walked into that exhibit I knew that I had to get a sword or knife of some sort. So when I found the display of swords I saw the “Saber and Sheath” and had to get it. The silver and green weapon was very beautiful and just perfect when it comes to design. It wasn’t too fragile looking, but wasn’t too big, bulky, and didn’t look like it was a medieval, dark lord sword, or anything like...
