Many photographers themselves offer their images on line through their own websites. Websites which used to cost literally thousands of dollars can now be purchased through a kit. These kits are very user friendly. There are two types of stock images, Rights Managed and Royalty Free. The rights managed (traditional) images require a license which is usually for a specific usage and over an agreed period of time. Royalty Free images on the other hand are generally available to anyone for a one time price and can be used in perpetuity without any additional charges and for any design project.
