Scientists have been doing a lot of commendable work. It would be not worth it to just go ahead and throw all this hard work and discoveries away. Imagine if we did discover the secret to human cloning? There would be so many things we could do. For example if we could clone humans, we could also clone organs. Maybe little Timmy needed a lung transplant he would not have to wait month after month for it. Timmy could just grow himself a new one. Yet there are still people debating the topic of Stem Cell research. Most Churches consider Stem Cell research a wrong thing to do. The Catholic Church says that Stem Cell research is a very intense issue. “America is grappling with the complicated issues of stem cell research and human cloning” (Stem Cell reseach/p14). This may be true, but still America has the money and responsibility to know what we are doing. If it was out of their hand the U.S. is smart enough to back off and know that this is an issue not to be joking around with. The United States has been researching the subject of Stem Cell research for a very long time and all the Scientists have been able to do is improve their knowledge about the subject.
