...udying Media Studies at A Level, I believe I have a secure academic foundation with which to approach a degree course in this subject with confidence and enthusiasm. The media takes a fundamental and crucial role in enhanced communication between different social groups and to study the way the media works would therefore be extremely beneficial to my ability to express ideas and would give me an opportunity to further my knowledge of the subject too. I look forward to studying marketing and advertising, each of these being aspects of the course that particularly interests me. I hope that a successful completion of a Media Studies degree will be a great help to me when pursuing a career in marketing and advertising which I aspire to enter after university.
