...usic, and even at school. Rural areas are becoming more populated with Latinos; therefore, I am sure that the Spanglish “lingo” will pick up rapidly. But as for now, the general population probably does not feel very comfortable trying to speak Spanglish, because it is unfamiliar to them. I would be a part of that general population; even though, I am somewhat familiar with Spanish. I am afraid that I would say something wrong if I tried to speak it, and make a fool of myself. I learned a few words when I used to work at a Mexican restaurant, but not enough to speak the language.
