...redit hours. The first summer session I took Psychology and Anatomy and Physiology. Psychology helped me interpersonally. It helped me look at the different things that I can do to become a better student. It had a great influence over me this summer. Anatomy and Physiology was one of the best courses I have ever taken. It helped me understand the different fields of science. More importantly, it helped me to understand what actually goes on in the human body. I took Anatomy and Physiology for that reason. I love science and after this introductory class I feel that I am better prepare to take any science class at the University of Houston—of course, working very hard to make the best grade possible. Knowing and understanding the way the body works will be a great advantage to me, because last year was the first year that I took science courses. The second summer session, while continuing to prepare myself to return to The University of Houston, I took two other classes. The classes that I took were Anatomy and Physiology II and General Biology II. After taking the first Anatomy Class at the Houston Community College, I become more excited and intrigued about learning about the human body. Moreover, I think these two classes will help me reach my goal of becoming a pharmacist. I know they will greatly help me in Chemistry, because although I was learning about the human body, we also touched Chemistry in the sense of why reactions are occurring and how they come into play. Taking two science courses with labs in a five-week semester was challenging, but not impossible. They both have prepared me to become a better student, and I do not regret doing it.
