...g been exploited by mankind, now it was just the peak time to introduce Animalism, a new ideology which would deliver animal nation from evil touch of ‘manism’. Under animalism, the animals would taste freedom upon them, and live happily after. Animalism is a concept introduced by Old Major, the main character in Animal Farm. It conveys the idea of equality among animals, association, harmony, and above all common welfare. All animal posses rights over the idea. In short, it places the animals in the righteous position, no longer as the exploited entities. Its goal is to secure all animals’ lives in the future, and to free anyone’s interference. And in so doing, it sets enmity against man. Major‘s doctrine is ideally perfect. Besides proposing the idea, before he died, he had already established the requirements supporting the emergence and practice animalism. The he proposed his ideas to his followers. But so perfect was the Old Major’s idea, that hardly no animals could well interpret and implement it. There were many interpretations and most of them cross cut one another. His followers, who in fact were not present when he delivered the speech, Napoleon and Snowball were involved in a strong argument about each interpretation.
