smoking to ban or not to ban?

The move on the part of the government to ban smoking in restaurants and cafes was a wise one, but to ban all smoking in all public areas would be an unwise move, if perhaps they were forced not to smoke in heavily used area’s for non smokers. There needs to be a compromise, because like other non-smokers I find it to be a filthy and dirty habit. But we must accept their freedom and rights to destroy their bodies through smoking. Not only is smoking a dirty habit, over half the rubbish removed from beaches each year is consists of cigarette butts. It is no longer considered cool or hip ...
