A thoroughly committed team of both, staff, students and members of the outside community including Jo Clarke and her helpful workers from Youth and Family Services, all contributed to this project to ensure that it was fully supported by all parties of the school community. In developing this book we looked are the most common reasons why students smoke and how we could help in encouraging them to quit. The feedback was not only positive but extremely important to help us develop the first crucial steps to combat smoking in schools.
