A possible reason why people evade others is out of pure jealousy for another, wishing that they could have enough courage and strength to have done what the person they are shunning has done. Is the crime of shunning someone worse then the crime that the person being shunned? Shunning a person, ostracizing, ignoring, tormenting, teasing, and harassing of a person is a crime as well. Bobby Knight is a legend. He is well known for coaching the Indiana University men’s basketball team for twenty-nine years. Coach Bobby Knight is also well known for being aggressive and extremely abusive to his players. He has spit in players’ faces, thrown chairs at his players. Knight has been accused of choking one of his players during a practice session, as well as physically and verbally abusing players on his own team. Players of coach Bobby Knight’s have accused him of calling blacks the “N word”, which is socially not expectable. Some former players of Knights have taken legal actions against him. Knight lost his job as the coach of Indiana University men’s basketball coach. Although being despised by many people for his offensive tactics, basketball coach Bobby Knight is still respected and loved by many. Some consider this man to be one of the best coaches in the nation, others consider him an insult to coaching. Bobby Knight currently holds the fourth place among all-time winning coaches in the history of college basketball as well as three national championships and numerous other awards. Bobby Knights method of coaching was considered to be uncompromisingly conservative, that is why his actions have aroused so much controversy and he has been shunned from the basketball community by many fans and ordinary people.
