Jeb said that the spring could not be found because the wallufs (giant spirit eating beings) drank from it and they keep moveing it far away from humans. Jeb said that when people die they go to these being and there spirit is destroyed.That night as the boys were walking home they realized that there parents would soon die so they went in search of this spring. They were gone months at a time and there parents were getting sick but they went looking for there boys and on the way they died. Tom and Jon found there parents bodies and saw there spirits fly away. The chased them nowing it would take them to the spring but also to the beings. When they reached the spring they noticed the tree to the sky next to it when they saw the spirits above the spring the forest began to shake the beings were coming so the tried to fight but were out numbered they climbed the tree but a being grabbed Tom and pulled him down Jon climbed and climbed until he touched the sky and then he died and his bones fell and killed some of the beings and then the bones turned to ashes. Tom poured some of the spring water onto his brothers ashes and he came back to life but with the power to create lightning when he opened his mouth so the forest began to shake again, more were c...
