Also, the packaging of our product will include ways in which the consumer can mix up the different candies in their mouth to make the taste of drinks such as a Long Island Iced Tea and others. It's going to be marketed as more of a fun way to drink, rather than just taking shots or having a mixed drink. Each piece of candy will be approximately 2 square inches. Once we came up with the idea of an alcoholic candy we did some research on the Internet. We found out that many companies had toyed with the idea, but nobody had actually gone through with it. The closest competitor we would have for Lusher's is Godiva, which is strictly a chocolate candy that is used for more of an after dinner snack. It's more of a rich taste, unlike Lusher's which will be sweeter with more flavor. Our target market will consist of adults over the age of 21, which leaves us with a wide demographic region. We plan on mostly targeting college students over this age because we want our candy to be a fad in the way...
