...t. We made our way down several back roads, and soon entered a crowed main route that I believe was Rt. 113. We then approached and accident off to the side of the road, which immedealdly grabbed our attention. And before we knew it we were in the back end of a school bus. My head hit the wind shield breaking my nose and rendering me to suddenly blackout. It all happened so fast that I don’t remember what happened after that. So from then on, I have always worn my seat belt when traveling in a car. Now I would like to, share some very important facts when it comes to seat belts. First, out of all drivers in the U.S., teenagers use there seat belts the least. I guess that’s why driver’s age 19 and under even though only make up 5.1% of the total number of driver’s, cause 14.0% of the country’s fatal accidents per year. My second fact is this, more then half of our nation’s drivers don’t wear seat belts, no wonder there are so many fatal accidents. My third fact is this; seat belts or safety belts, when worn reduce the number of death’s 45%, and reduce the number of serious injuries by 50%.
