Science has created as many problems as it has solved
...ample toxic and hazardous wastes that heavily pollute the environment and only part of the world is able use the science progress to their advantage but all of the world must suffer the consequences. The science progress does have its mean in the developed world and inside one it is only useful to the people of middle and high social classes. People of the third world countries and poor people inside the developed societies are only suffering from modern progress. Phone, fax, internet, remote controls, space stations are at absolutely no use for them and they do have to carry the burden of all the progress like pollution, financial cost (taxes) and increasing differences between the rich and the poor. Of course we mustn’t forget the wars. Americas ‘’fight for democracy’’ is usually ‘’killing for oil’’ or other natural resources. Their ‘’stability bringing’’ usually ends as a humanitarian catastrophe and only brings their influence to the area and eventually their usage of a certain area. The ongoing media campaign ‘’fighting for peace’’ can be easily translated to ‘’fucking for virginity’’ in either way it is impossible. So my answer is almost total agreement to the title.
