...work's pretty nice too... anyway on to what it's about... This story is placed in the year 1868, when the Meiji government is still young and some corrupted politicians still run the country. Some people are disillusioned with the current government in Japan and have the intent of overthrowing the government. That's when a man who goes by the name of Himura Kenshin steps in. For ten years, he wandered through Japan doing who knows what when he met Kaoru, an ecstatic and optimistic 17 year old girl. When she found out he was the legendary Battousai, she told him that he could stay at her dojo since she didn't care about his past. All in all, he fights in the name of justice and he tries to save lives in the process without shedding blood. But what is his purpose? What is this past that he has that he shuns?
