Safe way and its location

...reviously mentioned, it is easy to gain access to off the main road. The only disadvantages of this location is that you can’t see the supermarket until you are right in the road you are supposed to turn into to get to it. Advantages of this location are the same as previously mentioned, are the easy parking, and the help from other businesses in the area. Aisle one has fruit and vegetables, and chocolates and confectionary, which you would think is a strange combination but I think it could be like that because if parents are doing the shopping, kids might wander off and look at the lollies etc. which could lead to the purchase of confectionary. If confectionary isn’t in easy reach, parents could purposely just walk past to avoid the purchase of confectionary. Aisle two has all products that belong in your bathroom, such as cosmetics, sanitary products, shampoo and soap and toothpaste. Although most of these products are necessary, I think that they put cosmetics in their so that when people are shopping for the necessities, they have to by pass the things that they simply want, having a similar effect that the lollies have. Aisle three has all things you need to clean. This aisle doesn’t have any advantages because if you don’t have any of these products, you would have a very dirty home. Aisle four has pet foods and products for fixing things outdoors. I think this is appropriate because most pets live outside and they may damage things outside that need to be fixed, hence where the other products come in. Aisle five contains soft drinks and paper plates/napkins etc., which can all be used for a party/BBQ. It also has toilet paper which I thought was a strange product to also put in this aisle. I think that it would have been more appropriately placed in aisle two with all the other bathroom products. Aisle six I think contained the leftovers. None of products that are in this aisle relate to each other at all. It contains juice, video tapes and tomato paste. Aisle seven has products that you would serve as a side dish or an entrée. It contains rice, canned vegetables, sauces and soups. Aisle eight contains cooking oil, herbs and spices, kitchen wear and flours and sugars. These are all products which are essentials in cooking and that is why I believe they are grouped together. Aisle nine contains snack foods which are reasonable healthy and other health food products and vitamins etc. which seem to be appropriate when next to each other. Aisle 10 has products that you would use at a party, which I think could have been more appropriately place with the soft drinks etc. It also contains tea and coffee which you can drink when eating desserts which are also contained in this aisle. Aisle 11 is again a left over aisle, containing baby foods spreads and stationary products, which don’t relate to each other at all. Aisle 12 has all products which you would use at breakfast time. I think that spreads would have been more appropriately placed in this aisle because you put spreads on you toast at breakfast time. Down the other end of the supermarket was all of your frozen foods and dairy product. Along the back wall of Safeway are all of the meats and in back right hand corner is the deli, and in front of the frozen section is the bakery. I think that some of the products were well grouped together, but I think some were a bit strange. I think that some products are deliberately grouped together so that people don’t have to go all over the supermarket to find a certain product. For example the soft drinks and paper plates are together so if someone is having a BBQ they can get a few of the things they need in the one aisle without looking all over the supermarket. The displays that they had up were very colourful, and if I had money at the time I would have bought the products on display beca...
