Yet, in order to ensure that the Fourteenth Amendment was not violated there had to be some promise that no person shall be denied equal protection with that most legislation classifies for one purpose or another. Also, the Court stated that it would not uphold a law, which dealt with a fundamental inclusion of rights for homosexuals. Therefore, the Colorado Supreme Court came to the conclusion that Amendment 2 would work in the legal status of homosexuals in a private spectrum and beyond. The Court emerged a statutory protection that the laws would entitle people no tolerance to be able to discriminate towards another person. Also, the court made it that Amendment 2 came to forbid all laws or policies, which would provide specific protection from discrimination for gays and lesbians by every level of Colorado government. Therefore, justice was finally solved from homosexuals whom faced discrimination instead of protection in Amendment 2 in the state of Colorado. Bowers v. Hardwick In the case of Bowers v. Hardwick, the presumed crime of sodomy was presented in the state of Georgia. The Georgia statute prohibited committing the act of sodomy with another adult male in the bedroom in his own home. The Federal District Court of Georgia that the statute of Georgia was constitutional in a few certain ways. For example, the statute stated that the Constitution did not allow the fundamental right with homosexuals to engage in the act of sodomy. Also, that there should be a greater resistance to expand the reach of Due Process Clauses to cover new fundamental rights. Another example, that sodomy laws should be invalidated on the asserted basis that the belief of the majority that sodomy is immoral. In Bowers v.
