...ime they met, risks were taken for the feelings they had for each other. The love they had was forbidden by both families, which possibly made their love grow faster. The direction of their love took them down a dangerous path that had to remain secret and out of the public eye. For if their families were to discover this young love, Romeo and Juliet could’ve been disowned. They take one of their biggest risks when they secretly marry. After only 2 days it would ultimately change their life forever, all because of their fast growing love for each other. “Deny thy father and refuse thy name; Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I'll no longer be a Capulet." In this statement, Juliet professes her love to Romeo, and Romeo finds out that she loves him back. It is yet another example of the strength of their love that has grown so quickly. Juliet says she will not care what her father thinks and does not care what Romeo’s last name is. It proves that she truly loves Romeo. On the way to Juliet’s home after the wedding, Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin, challenges Romeo to a duel. When Tybalt is killed, Juliet’s feelings for Romeo quickly change. She loves him and hates him all at the same time. She wonders how such an evil person can be so beautiful and says it is as if she and the nurse question her love for him.
