...ge by interacting certain areas of the contemporary music and certain action sequences in the film trailer itself. To quote Todorov’s theory, ‘films work between a state of equilibrium and disequilibrium this text uses non-diagetic sound to ensure the disruption is read by the audience.’ The objective of a film trailer is to sell a film but in a different way to what a commercial does. My key objective in this film trailer is to persuade the viewer of this trailer to not only see the film but must see it in a cinema.
