In 1883 he meet Camille Claudel and his father died. In 1888 Rodin and Camille rented Clos Payen as a Studio. In 1890 he made a journey with Camille to Touraine and Anjou. In 1910 Rodin made a short Visit to London. In the year 1917 Rodin died on November the seventeenth his was on November the twenty forth. Rodin works were primarily sculptures. His style was pretty much realism Of his sculptures many were models of young women. Rodin basically had two styles of sculpting. One style is were he left the object very rough and unfinished looking. The other style he used he would have a very polished and shiny finished project. Generally with his rough surface sculptures the anatomy of the figures would be purposely more distorted. With the very shiny and finished looking surface the anatomy would generally be more correct. Rodin was greatly influenced by renaissance artists such as: Donatello and Michealangalo. Rodin used primarily just two materials, Bronze and Marble. Rodin has many famous pieces such as the thinker, the gates of hell, the kiss, and many others. Rodin's work was so great and flawless people thought that Rodin made plasters casts of his models.
