Religious Hypocrites
...n, who attends church to keep up appearances. These Christians condemn people for gossiping and spreading rumors about others, but they turn around and perform these acts with pleasure. However, when the table is turned in their direction, this type of hypocrite becomes very upset. They believe that other people should follow their beliefs, but they want to be excluded from these rules. These people with the holier than thou attitude believe that they can do no wrong, and others that believe differently can do no right. The next type of religious hypocrite is the “social” hypocrite. This type of hypocrite is the kind that can be seen drinking at the local bar on a Saturday night. The “social” hypocrite goes out and parties the night before church. They are the ones playing poker, gambling, and cussing like there is nothing wrong. Then as Sunday morning rolls around, they’re in church bright and early as if they had sat at home Saturday night reading the Bible. These hypocrites do not brag about being religious, they just put on the appearance. Last is the “extremist” religious hypocrite. This type of hypocrite uses their religion to justify their actions.
