...f a spiritual afterlife where our spirit energy carries our memories and personality. The second deals with reincarnation, a process where we are born again into another life form. The third doesn’t really believe in anything, it is the belief that after we die, nothing happens at all. These three kinds of religions can be broken down into three main groups such as Catholicism, Buddhism, and Atheism, which all have their subgroups and so on. All these different religions contain ideas used in shaping the way we live out our lives. For instance in Buddhism the ultimate goal in life is to reach nirvana. Nirvana is the highest level of living where one is in complete harmony with themselves and everything surrounding them. Buddhists spend many hours in meditation trying to reach a place in their mind where they are completely relaxed and undisturbed. In Catholicism our actions in this life predetermine our afterlife. Basically as long as one strives for good and is sorry for his/her sins when they die, they will go to heaven. In a way religious beliefs are very similar to each other because they are like guide lines for life. Now Atheists don’t believe in an afterlife at all so therefore they are not accountable.
