RELIGION SHOULD NOT INTERFERE WITH POLITICS
...nd educating the people and making them politically conscious. That is what politics is all about. But before I go on, dear reader I’d like to ask you, is this what today’s politics is all about? I’m sure even the biggest liar in this world would beg to differ. Today’s politicians uses religion to enhance his political career. Religion and politics do not go hand in hand. So when they are merged, it will create confusion in the country. And that is the exact picture of the present Indian politics. Indian politicians are using religion as a mean for widening their vote bank. The English gave India a formula, which today’s politicians are using to good effect: ‘DIVIDE AND RULE’ by fanning the fires of communal disharmony they are maintaining their ‘Khursi’. Hence, dear reader, the screaming need of the hour is the separation of religion from politics. What this needs is a change in the mindset of the people and politicians, which in turn needs a strong resolution on part of some right-minded and educated citizens.
