The differences of opinion were then measured with eleven items to witch each person would respond separately for differences of opinion over minor/major issues. “Of the 108 participants answering the questionnaire in terms of a currant romantic relationship, three and twelve people said that they never had different opinions over minor (3) or major (12) issues. The means, standard deviations, reliabilities and correlations for the entire sample and the sample leaving out those who did not have differences of opinions on both minor and major issues did not differ considerably. Individuals that were generally satisfied with their relationships and negative conflict over minor/major issues were not experienced often.
