The tribe members are hit with very difficult situations like fires, storms, etc. Viewers really get into the show because it makes them wonder what they would do in these certain situations. “Survivors” official website offers polls for the viewers to vote on so they can express their opinions. It also offers tests and quizzes so people can see how much they have learned from the television show. Watching the tribes work together and make what they can with the little resources that they have educates the viewers and they don’t even realize how much they are learning because the show is so fun. Viewers learn basic human behaviour by watching the show and observing how the members interact with one another. The communication between the tribe members and the extent members are willing to go to in certain situations teaches reflects this human behaviour. At the end of every show, someone from the tribe that looses the challenge must get voted off the show. The goal for each person is to win the million dollars and not get voted off the island. Some members will do anything to stay on the show, even if they have to lie and betray someone that trusts them or someone they know.
