Queen Cleopatra
... with Mark Antony. During their love affair, he had given her and her children parts of the Roman Empire, which angered the Romans even more and decided eventually to attack Cleopatra in the battles of Actium. Mark Antony was killed in battle, and Cleopatra killed herself shortly after. As I was researching Cleopatra’s life, I got my information from two websites. The first one was a full page of Cleopatra’s life. When I went to see the home page of this website, I found that it was a website for tourists who were thinking of vacationing in Egypt. So the purpose of this website is to bring people to Egypt and sell things such as travel guides and make reservations at certain hotels. The purpose of this website is to also inform others of Egypt. There is actually a cover story that is changed daily. I wanted to find out who had written the article on Cleopatra’s life, so I did more research. I found that another company that makes webpages for companies designed the Egyptian Tourism webpage. The website address for this company is http://interoz.com. The presentation of this information was professional I thought. No punctuation or grammar mistakes were found. There were some graphics, which are usually thought of as a way to try to make up for the information that is given on the webpage. But I don’t think that was the intention of this piece. I think that it was just made to be a border of some sort. The second website I visit was different. The page with the information on Queen Cleopatra was simple compared to the last website. The only graphics it included was a photograph of a statue of Cleopatra’s head. When I looked more into the website, I found that it was a website on the city of Alexandria, where Cleopatra ruled. There were all kinds of links to other historical leaders of Alex...
