Not only do public and private schools both have this bond it is basically the foundation of a functioning college. With a degree in their major a student may go on to work at a job that meets their degree the college has awarded to them. Public and private colleges also offer amenities to work from, achieve goals, access, and learn from. For example, public and private colleges have classrooms, student lounges, a building to work in, parking, and a curriculum set forth by the school that teaches students a skill. They both may have a Library whereby a student can access information for a certain study they are trying to achieve a degree in. All colleges', public and private, also have the amenity of a teacher. Amenities, although residential in a college, are in fact a basic stone for the learning process of a student. Without amenities to gain learning from, a college could not function as a learning place achieving goals. While learning at a college it takes readily availably resources to gain a firm hand on a degree of study. Readily available resources include on site and offsite communications. One readily available resource on site and off site would be a library. Colleges often offer a library within the school grounds. If a Library is not within school grounds there should be one within a fair radius of the school. Another readily available resource for learning through a college would be the newly appreciated Internet. The Internet has a wide variety of information expanding the basic library. Most libraries now have an Internet connection within the parameters to expand the library to new fields. The basic essentials of a college are a good example of the similarities, but the differences between public and private institutions far outweigh the likenesses. A good example of a difference would be the environment of students at a public or private college. A public college has a reputation of being very crowded with students due to affordability and accessibility. This gives the private college a more one on one environment with the student and teacher.
