... maul at my head. The next thing that I remember was standing at the backdoor screaming and covered in blood. Bo's mother came out to see what was going on and found my standing there crying with my hands out in front of me soaked in blood. She ran back inside and got some towelss to put on my head. SHe called my parents to tell them what had happened and to come over right away. Things are kind of vauge from then to the hospital. But I do remember lying on the hospital bed with the doctors cutting my shirt off and thinking, "Oh don't do that. This is my favorit shirt!" The next thing I knew I had been in the hospital for about a week and gotten 400 stitches. On thop of that I had no hair! This dog had left scratches all over my body and images in my mind that I will never be able to get rid of for the rest of my life. FOr years I had nightmares about this whole incident. I have been through many therapists and years of counseling. Now 13 years later I just about overcome this horrific thing that happened to me. But I do not think that I will ever get over this thing completely, but I can say that it has been a long journey to come this far. I just wake up every morning and thank God that he let me live through that and live my life to see what I can become. On the other hand we have the problems of society today. At the age of 20, I am facinga problem that I hoped that I would never have to see. On September 20th of 2001 my father lost his job because of September 11th. It has been over a year now and he still soes not have a job. The whole telecommunications field has been cut down dramaticallyand unfortunately that is what he does. He has been looking for a job, and has been on a couple of interviews, but nothing has come of any of them.
