Napster and its free music sharing capabilities is a key to open the big door to the music industry for all the new bands just trying to get started. It gets their name out free and easily. How many people would spend fifteen dollars on a CD from a band you’ve never heard of but are curious of? We can turn to Weezer to get an idea of how new bands are helped by Napster.
