However, she gradually gained confidence. She was praised for her beauty by many people, such as Edward, the hotel men and sales people. As a result, she became a dignified lady. Vivianfs attitude toward life also changes. Before she met Edward, she lived in the present. She said "I was a kind of fly by the seat of my pants gal. You know moment to moment." Then, she met Edward. By the time the movie draws to close, she had changed. She told her friend her plan. She said "I want to finish high school in Los Angels." She is clever. She often gave clever replies. For example, About Edward's job, she said, "So, it's sort of like, stealing cars and selling them for the parts right?" On the other hand, Edward's personality is cool. He always speaks calmly in the movie. Whereas Edward is cool in the movie, his attitude toward life also changes. Before he met Vivian, he was systematic. When Vivian asked him "Do you plan everything?" he replied "Always." Afterwards, he changed a little bit. He made a holiday suddenly for Vivian, and he had fun with her in the park . He is also clever. We can know this from his job. He didn't sell a whole company. He broke up it up into pieces, and he sold that off. It was more worth than the whole company. Setting The scene of the movie is in 1990 in early summer,and the story develops six days in Los Angeles. There are two main places. One is Hollywood Boule Vard, the place of the encounter. The another one is Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in which cultivated their love. Plot The story begins with a business party at a mansion in Hollywood. Edward broke up with his girl friend there, so he was very upset about that and flounce out of the party. Then, he decided to go to his hotel, and he met Vivian. The encounter was one night at Boule Vard, the streets of Hollywood. Edward got lost on the way to the hotel. Then, Vivian offered him a date as a hooker when he came to the street. And then, she got into his car although he asked her directions. After that, he bought her and stayed the night nicely. The next morning, there was an arrangement.
