Pollution and Technology
...problems in general. There have been previous attempts towards this idea but however full control of technology misusage has not been achieved. There are countries that have succeeded in limiting and somehow stopping domestic pollution where in some other countries – especially poor and developing ones- pollution is an everyday practice almost everyone is taking part in it. For example, burning garbage in open dumps causes air pollution beside a terrible smell and visual pollution. By the use of technology, this garbage (or most of it) could be recycled. This will not only end one cause of air pollution, but it will also provide some goods and services and could help the community and the economy of the country. Another thing technology helped in was the use of solar energy in certain fields. Solar energy is known to be a clean source of energy that does not cause harm to the environment. The use of clean petrol for automobiles is also dedicated somehow to technology. Clean petrol or fuel causes less harm to the environment. Electricity, which is another creation of technology, is expected to replace oil and fuel in all the things that depend on those types of burning fossil fuels, CFCs etc. Those fuels are one major cause of air pollution. The cause of this is carbon monoxide, which com...
