...may seem obvious, but if you look at the last couple presidents from each party you see that we are talking about Jimmy Carter, Ronald Regan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush. With Carter in office the economy prospered, America thrived financially. Then with the offices of Regan and Bush the economy fell drastically. Naturally Clinton picked it back up and even put it higher than what Carter had had it. Then in the early months of 2001 the economy began to fall drastically, during George W. Bush’s early days in office. The pattern here is that you put a democrat in office you will see good things on the NASDAQ, u put a republican in office and the NASDAQ drops so far so fast you may have problems finding it. Then on to the American “world stance”. Jimmy Carter was loved by all so naturally he made America look good. President Regan got in trouble with the Iran-Contra scandal. Bush did not help this when he proceeded to clean up the whole mess by pardoning all who where involved. President Clinton was doing really well until l’affaire Lowinsky broke loose towards the end of his second term. Finally George W. Bush just enjoys messing every thing up, between his business past and his rebel daughters that refuse to stay sober for more than two weeks, he tends to make America look as pathetic as he could. The morality of a president also weighs very heavily in the public’s opinion of him. One of the biggest problems in the past has been when Presidential candidates (typically republican) say they will fix some immoral law, and then once in office do nothing about it, mainly because it cant be done, but in all reality they knew they could do nothing about it, thus they are immoral them selves. Then there was the Lowinsky scandal with President Clinton did obliterate what little morals we might have thought he had. Finally, Christian values, this can only be looked at by party. Republicans tend to work for money...
