points in education
...The student is then affected by the knowledge in that he or she is no longer limited by only having two but rather no reached the limit of adding two and two together to get four. Another good example is in a detectives reading a case file. The case file is the teacher and the detective is the learner. As the detective reads the text in the case file, the case file has an affect on the teacher in that it edifies him or her on what job the detective must accomplish and in matter he or she must get the job done efficiently. However, education is in no way limited to the number of pages in a textbook as it in no way limited to the knowledge of a professor or the space in his classroom. Education is limited by the number of creative ways one can teach and another can learn simultaneously. A bear can learn never to attack a human if it sees another bear being decapitated by a hunter, or in the same manner the bear can learn to hate man as an enemy instead of fear man as a predator. The salmon learns how to swim against a waterfall by watching its school do the same. A blind man may recognize a gunshot by learning how to identify the sound and distinguishing it from the sound of a firecracker exploding. The learner and teacher may also be the same person or thing. A mole may easily be able to teach itself that it cannot be out during daylight as it walks on land with the sun glaring into the mole’s eyes and causing extreme pain to the animal. As a result the mole remains in the dark areas where its sensitive eyes may be comfortable. Children in China taught themselves the English vocabulary by going over a Chinese-English dictionary. Education is something that can be done only by an individual or more than two people together. Without education development can only go so far. If education is absent in a person or thing, development will begin to cease. Feral children are known for their lack of education and development as a character of integrity and as an intellect. These children must rely on themselves to be their own teachers for so long and only go so far. When the child has taught himself as much as he can expect he reaches a plateau. As he may continue to form physically, although not at best efficiency, his mind will stop to develop and the child becomes vegetable like. A plant is known only to grow and die. Some are eaten by people and others by animals, fungi, and other plants. Notice how a plant cannot learn to express itself through action or sound. The only sound a tree may make is when it falls, and witnesses present only prove even that. When an animal goes with out the continue development of education, it to stops to develop and even to a point starts to become underdeveloped or the current development is reversed. A child can learn how to be human in its first five years. If he or she is locked to a tree and left for another twenty what happens? It is proven that unless the education is still growing in the individuals mind, it begins to show sign evolution in the reverse. Instead of walking up right like a man of today, the child may depend on his or her hands to travel instead of on the feet alone. Its language may not be as fluent as a person of its c...
