Planet of Life: Apes to Man

...ce provided evidences which are very hard to ignore; fossil records and archaeological findings where among those. It is believed that man originally descended from the apes and only about 4.9 M years had passed when man and ape separates. According to scientists, the chimpanzees are the closest living relatives of modern man. When they compared the behavior of man and the chimpanzees they found out that they behaved almost the same, with the body features functioning roughly the same way as that of humans. They explained that the difference in their behavior lies in their gene pools. Through the advancement of technology, archaeologists have been able to explore the deepest sea, the farthest places and do the impossible in order to find evidences to support this claim. It was named Lucy; with ape-like features, long arms and short legs. Shortly after Lucy has been found, austrolophitecus robustus was discovered. According to scientists, it has the most-advanced morphology. Its brain’s size and weight is the same as that of Lucy’s.
