...s). Procedure 1. Set up darkroom up including safelight, chemicals and enlarger. 2. Place your negatives in the enlarger and print a test strip of possible exposure times. 3. Study the test strip under natural light and select an exposure time that will allow the image to appear slightly underexposed e.g. if the correct exposure time is twelve seconds then select approximately nine seconds. 4. Print the image using the enlarger for the selected exposure time. 5. Place the photographic paper in the developer and stop bath for the appropriate time. Do not put in fixer. 6. Wash any remaining chemicals from the photographic paper. 7. Select the f.8 aperture on the enlarger. Make sure there is no negative in the carrier. Check that the light rays from the enlarger will cover the piece of exposed photographic paper. 8. Place the exposed paper under the enlarger and expose it to light for approximately ten seconds but a test strip is advisable to have. 9.
