...y checked out from the Library, I have already gained some knowledge and information which is pretty exciting. Along the way, I would also enjoy getting to know classmates and learning from their personal experiences. I have already gotten to communicate with a couple of people and being that our class is so small, it should be pretty easy to get to know all of my classmates by the end of this course of study. Long term or ultimate goals play a large role in success whether they are in sight or far down the road. Although one may rely on short-term goals or preliminary goals to get them through, keeping the long-range goals in mind may make them strive to accomplish the short term ones. My long term goals or ultimate goals are pretty much broken up into four sections. First, I want to graduate next year with an associate’s degree in general education. I will do this by following my short-term goals and attaining each. Second, I will begin my bachelor’s degree in criminology and graduate early. By this time in my education, my goals should be pretty close to being completed and there should be an obvious and definite light at the end of the tunnel, which will motivate me even more. Third, I aspire to become a probation officer helping troubled teens while putting myself through law school. Finally, the fruits of my labor will pay off when my ultimate goal comes to life and I become a prosecutor for the municipal courts. Motivation plays a key role in attaining my goal. ...
