People Power II?

...rise, I never felt excited. I even ignored Cardinal Sin’s call on Filipinos to go to EDSA and stay there until "good has conquered evil". Our classes were suspended to give us students a chance to join the rally. But instead of marching down to EDSA, I went straight home and had an afternoon nap. I admit that laziness was the sole reason why I didn’t grab the chance to join the rally in EDSA back then. But looking back, I have no regrets. It’s because I think EDSA II was really nothing compared to EDSA I. Instead of praise, EDSA II received lots of criticisms. Come to think of it, isn’t it embarrassing that we oustered a president who at the same time, had overwhelmingly been elected by us? It's sad to see how blind we Filipinos are to the true intentions of many politicians. Worse, these people are using the country's situation and our vulnerability to further their own interests. But come to think of it, aren’t we people are the ones to be blamed because we allow these politicians to manipulate us? We can have ten, a hundred, a million, billion successful revolutions after another. But it doesn't change the fact that we are not getting any better because we are not doing it right. How many more revolutions do we have to go through to realize that...
