... a short period of time, we have come to trust each other in this new learning environment and we have opened ourselves up and admitted some of the worst fears we have ever experienced in our education. We headed into this class during the first few days wondering why the online class seemed more like a chat room than a classroom. We didn’t even realize what we were really doing By beginning to admit those fears openly, we began a process that will allow us overcome those fears thereby also beginning the process of tearing down barriers that have kept us from succeeding at this very basic goal. This time we will succeed because we are beginning with the basics. This time we will succeed because we now realize we don’t have to memorize every detail of the textbook. This time we will succeed because we realize that the approach to learning is as individual as we all are. Now we have been divided up into learning teams.
