...ind and also be divine simultaneously? God taking on a human body and mind means that he was limited in knowledge, power, and presence. If God is limited in knowledge, power, and presence can he still be considered God? Morris indicated that it’s not possible for God to possess a human body and mind and be divine at the same time. God had to relinquish his divine powers in order to become human. God had to empty himself of the divine powers if he was to take on the human form. I think that it would add to God’s divinity if he could take on a human form and be divine at the same time. This is what would separate God from everybody else. God would be able to be divine and human at the same time. If God only became human by relinquishing his powers then he would be no different from the rest of us. How would you be able to distinguish God from any one else? What makes God special is that he possesses divine powers and is capable of doing things no human can. This is the reason people look up to God and marvel at his wonders. He does things that are beyond our understanding. God stands out apart from other human beings because of the unique powers he holds. No individual but God can possess the unique powers of being omnipotence, omniscience, omniprese...
