He acted in away that made Chelsea feel not loved or wanted. This was not true, but Chelsea was never aware of it because no one had told her other wise. This is where Ethel steps in and for the first time she opens the door between Chelsea and Norman. This is the time where Chelsea learns to accept her self and Norman. This acceptance gives her courage witch changes, for the better, her relationship with Norman. Billy in the other hand is a lost kid. With his parent divorce he is always been left behind. When he first moved into the lake he had a bad attitude. He didn’t want to there. That changed when he realized that Norman and Ethel did like having him there and he wasn’t just been left there. By the end of the film Norman and Billy grew very close. This relationship taught Billy to become a better person and to accept who he is. We have seen how Norman influenced everyone’s life.
