...deepen my relationship with the “Christ of Faith” by learning more about the “historical Jesus”. By learning more about the historical Jesus I can understand what he went through as a human and I can relate to him. It is easier to relate to someone when you know their life story and what they did and the tasks they accomplished. It helps me to deepen my relationship with the Christ of Faith because the Christ of Faith is close to the historical Jesus. They are the same person just told about from different perspectives. By knowing a lot abut both perspectives allows me to deepen my relationship with the both the Christ of Faith and the historical Jesus. If you love something, let it go...
