Good Is Rewarded and Evil Is Punished- Sisyphus was punished by Zeus for telling Aculus about his relationship with Arcuses. His punishment was that he had to roll a boulder up a mountain and back down again forever. The Giants Rebellion Many Gods- The many gods were Hercules, son of Zeus the head god, Hera the queen, Hermes the messenger god, Poseidon the sea god, Hades the underworld god. Super Human- The gods killed over twenty gigantic giants in a brutal war. Human Emotion- During the war Porphyrion fell in love with Hera. Magic- Mother Earth created the giants by changing boulders into giants to try and kill the gods. Violence- All the giants were killed in the war because they attacked Olympus. Melampus and Phylacus Super Human- Hera paralyzed a boy because the bad things he had done ,decided not to worship the gods. Magic- paralyzing a boy using her,Hera, magic for refusing to worship the gods. Violence- Zeus killed the boy’s best friend{ a ram} to punish the boys father for the many bad things the father had done like murder. Bellerophon Human Emotion- The queen fell in love with Bellerphon and asked him to leave the country with her. When he refused she told the king that he had been the one to ask her to leave. The king banishedBellephon from the country. Magic- Pegasus, who was Hercules’s white horse, had wings and could fly. Violence-Bellerophon accidentally killed a man in a dart throwing contest, killed the Chimaera Theseus Human Emotion- Theseus was furious at the Minator for killing and eating his cousins Good Is Rewarded and Evil is Punished- Minotaur was killed for all the deaths he had caused by Theseus .Theseus traveled to the labyrinth, and slayed theMinotaur. To get out of the maze, he unrolled string on his way in, marking his way out.
