...bness as a problem. The United States of America is not okay right now at all. We still feel the effects of 9/11. The U.S. Economy is at an all time low and fell into recession. More people are losing their jobs than ever before, yet we as Americans can act like nothing is wrong. It is getting where Americans are not surprised by anything anymore. A news company could tell the U.S. citizens that we have walked on Mars, and more than half of the American society would believe them. Today's American takes just about everything for granted.(250) Even though Americans take almost everything for granted, it has a lot to do with having so many choices. Our parents grew up in a world where there were Redman 2 not very many choices. There were not 120 different kinds of cereal or 20 different makers of automobiles. Today's American is spoiled with so many choices. It is very easy to take for granted a product that is produced in abundance. The fact is that not every American has the same luxuries as a normal person. Some people have more luxuries, some have no luxuries. It is high time we be thankful for what we have. We are one of the highest good producing countries in the world, and few go without. Countries in Africa have citizens who have to fight illnesses and poverty.
