...scientific community. Consider one fact, that holistic medicine is growing at an alarming rate while orthodox medicine is beginning to fall to the way side. Yes, just about everyone sees a regular doctor who then wants to prescribe some kind of medication. While some just accept this, many are not, myself included. Because I have not heard what the side effects, whether short term or long term, are, I would rather not take it. This leads to the argument that education would bring the two sides together. Imagine that instead of being told that stem cell research is a necessity, you hear that with those cells a new spinal cord could be engineered so paralysis or M. S. would no longer be a problem. Unfortunately because of this lack of education, scientific based jargon , such as quantum and hacker, now have meanings that no longer pertain to the science that they were once equated with.
